How to Pull Your E*Trade Supplemental Tax Form
If you have RSUs or stock options at Docusign, Square, Spotify, and more…you will probably need to log into E*Trade and pull a supplement tax form called a 1099. It is absolutely essential for us to have this form so we can make sure your tax return is correct.
The basis of your stock will be WRONG on your tax return without this form and you might pay unnecessary tax.
This is what the form looks like
Log in and navigate to the Tax Center
2. Select the correct Brokerage account that houses your equity (it’s better to be safe and send us statements from both accounts).
3. Download the Stock Plan Transactions Supplement.
