We’re Hiring: A Client Service Associate in Investment Operations

Brooklyn FI is looking for a Client Service Associate to join our team. The Client Service Associate is responsible for assisting with the general administrative functions of our financial planning team, most importantly database maintenance, collecting information from clients and handling the opening of investment accounts. This person is in charge of making sure the right boxes are checked and every client is in their right place. This is a back-office position and is ideal for someone who gets job satisfaction from getting things done efficiently and on time.
The ideal candidate loves organization and data. This is an administrative role and 90% of the job will be completing paperwork. The ideal candidate has a healthy initiative and can anticipate needs and log jams. This candidate will also be responsible for ad-hoc projects.
Key Responsibilities
Collect client data and paperwork and assist clients with the onboarding process
Manage opening of new accounts and complete workflows
Monitor money movement and coordinate with the trading team
Enter client data in Wealthbox CRM and other financial planning tools like Right Capital
Complete investment account opening paperwork for clients and assist with account transfers
Assist in implementing recommended strategies such as opening accounts
Assist clients directly with rollovers and transfers
Must Haves
Bachelor's degree
At least one year of experience at a similar firm opening investment accounts
Dedication to high quality of work and significant attention to detail
Strong product knowledge and problem-solving skills
A true passion for innovation (you’re excited about learning new software and you learn fast)
Strong analytical, organizational, and computer skills
Proactive team player able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently (think through and solve problems on your own)
A sense of humor
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with TD Ameritrade account opening and VeoOne
Experience with Schwab
Compensation
Base salary range of $40,000 - $50,000 plus a quarterly revenue share
