The Marketing Coordinator is an integral part of our team serving as the true connection between our clients, support team, and advisors. This great communicator, influencer and enthusiastic person will support the vision, positive culture, and team spirit. Like all positions at Brooklyn FI, this is a remote role.
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for contributing to the growth of the company by identifying services and markets, suggesting sales strategies and approaches, and measuring the results of all marketing efforts for Brooklyn Fi’s growth initiatives. The Marketing Coordinator is also responsible for the development of lead generation activities, building brand awareness and marketing campaigns/events that are innovative and engage both current clients and prospective clients.
This position requires a pro-active approach and an ability to independently carry out the duties of the position. The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, good judgment, and an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. The ability to effectively manage time and multi-task with attention to detail is critical to this role. The Marketing Coordinator will also work closely with the founders as well as oversee the creation of content by the Marketing Associates and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for developing high impact and outcomes-focused marketing strategies and execution plans that reinforce the brand and value proposition, drive growth, engagement, retention, and loyalty among institutional and intermediary clients.
Work with founders to develop a content strategy and calendar and implement Brooklyn FI’s marketing plan to build brand awareness.
Manage campaigns and develop proactive relationship sales strategies.
Overhaul sales process and oversee funnels.
Reduce costs through marketing efficiency, creating strategies that are repeatable and scalable.
Lead, oversee, and support marketing initiatives by aligning quality goals and revenue goals of firm.
Think outside the box, identifying technologies and solutions to drive better outcomes.
Develop and utilize deep institutional insights at the center of all marketing plans to support growth of Brooklyn FI.
Monitor the firm’s website for brand continuity
Review trending lead closure/loss rates and adjusting strategy to achieve goals.
Determine and monitor KPIs on all marketing activities and expenditures.
Connect all marketing activities using a comprehensive strategy to create better results.
Maximize impact of external and internal communications.
Manage and edit written and visual content created by the subject matter experts at the firm.
Must Haves
A bachelor’s degree
2+ years of experience in a marketing role
Experience in marketing programs, lead campaigns, and digital/social media
Experience with CRM, lead generation, and campaign management software preferred
Experience in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening)
Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Net Insight, Omniture, WebTrends)
Working knowledge of SEO
Excellent time management and strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and anticipate potential problems.
Proven experience to drive revenue growth with increased lead flow and high closing ratios
Strong analytical, organizational, and computer skills
Proactive team player able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently (think through and solve problems on your own)

Compensation
$60,000 - $70,000 with a quarterly revenue share
