Summary of Responsibilities and Core Competencies
The primary function of this role is to support the financial planning team in onboarding new clients to the Schwab investment management platform. The day-to-day duties include preparing investment account opening and transfer paperwork and troubleshooting issues with Brooklyn Fi’s planning team and the clients we serve. More time in the role will lead to more responsibilities like building financial plan and sitting in on client meetings.
As one of the most exciting and fastest-growing firms in the country, all Brooklyn Fi team members will occasionally be asked to perform duties outside of their listed responsibilities. Key Responsibilities
This is an advisor-supporting role that requires an understanding of financial planning to develop recommendations for clients.
Support the financial planners and other planning associates to deliver error-free account opening paperwork to clients
Assist in implementing recommended strategies such as opening accounts, setting up investment portfolios, and handling rollover calls
Assist clients with beneficiary changes, address changes, charitable contributions, wire transfers, and other requests.
Embrace the investment strategy of the organization and implement investment recommendations
Support the Senior and Lead planners in the day-to-day operations of the firm
Enter client data in HubSpot CRM and other financial planning tools
Attend client meetings, take notes, and follow up with clients
Respond directly to client inquiries received via email and/or phone
Train other team members to complete investment management paperwork.
Generate quarterly billing statements and invoice AUM clients.
Additional Responsibilities
Perform ongoing financial planning analyses, including tax, cash flow, retirement, estate planning, and insurance
Coordinate with the tax team on tax planning items, mock tax returns, and projections
Run Get Organized meetings with clients to ensure we have the necessary documents on file to complete their plan

Must-haves:
Bachelor's degree
CPF(R) Exam passed and waiting experience to earn CFP(R) marks

Compensation
$65,000 - $76,000 + company revenue share
Location:
Remote, work from anywhere in the world with a fast internet connection and a door you can close
